DocStaxx is a document management program designed to work in cooperation with other components such as an RFID tag reader,
Ethernet network, and web server software. It is critical that the layers of software from the fundamental hardware level up
to the application software are installed in the correct order.
The software uses a Magellan PJM RFID reader and tags. It requires Windows XP, Vista, and Windows Server 2003 and later. It is recommended that the SQL server be
installed as a separate system, though it is possible to use an existing installation of both IIS and SQL. DocStaxx does not
interfere with other applications running in IIS or SQL Server but RFIDTraxx does not offer support for systems other than its own systems.
DocStaxx requires Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), Microsoft .NET 3.5
Framework, and Microsoft SQL server (or SQL Server Express
and SQL server Management Express) to be installed prior to DocStaxx. IIS is part of Windows, and .NET 3.5 Framework and SQL server can be downloaded from Microsoft.
Docstaxx also requires IE 7.0 or later.

This manual is designed for the Administrator or Systems Integrator that is actually installing or administrating the DocStaxx program.
The manual is currently being re-written to cover the updates to the DocStaxx program, but will provide all the information you require to get up and running.
